If we've heard it once, we've heard it a thousand times: wash your darn hands! And while this is always a good rule of thumb (no pun intended), we may not always consider why. It might seem old school, just using soap and water, but this magical combination happens to be one of the most tried and true methods to prevent getting sick and/or spreading your germs onto others. The brand or type probably makes little difference as long as you lather well—and you can't really discriminate in a public washroom or someone else's home.
